KTI, an esteemed Sabah-based property developer of over 40 years, was looking for a brand exercise to strengthen their brand identity. However, a combination of in-depth research, interviews with the board of directors, and company-wide town hall sessions uncovered an even richer story behind the brand that has defined the industry in Sabah.

As trailblazers in property development, KTI introduced many firsts to Sabah, including the industrialised building system (IBS) and the first placemaking address. These milestones set KTI apart as an industry leader and innovator. Recognising this legacy, we realised what KTI needed wasn’t a rebrand, but to build upon their existing brand and bring their story to the rest of Malaysia. From there, we leveraged on their core values, fortified their identity and narrative, and took the KTI legacy to newer heights that would be respected not just in Sabah, but in West Malaysia as well.

This endeavour included a refreshed corporate identity, integrated with strategic insights and creative execution. At the forefront of it all, we were inspired by KTI’s story to imbue the company name with a meaning that would also serve as the tagline: "Keep Transcending Ideas." This tagline encapsulates KTI’s commitment to pushing boundaries, never backing down from challenges, and continuously redefining what is possible in property development. By retaining the original company name and logo, we are also able to express the soul of KTI - that their very essence and core values do not require change, just a way to express their truest brand story to the market.

This new narrative underscores KTI's legacy as an innovator, while revitalising the brand identity to not only resonate with existing stakeholders but also position KTI as the benchmark for excellence and confidence in Sabah's property development landscape.
